2 Tier Wedding Cake for Wine Lovers' Wedding: Jenni and Michael

Jenni and Michael had a gorgeous outdoor wedding at their family home just outside the Twin Cities.  It was filled with lovely pops of burgundy, purple, and gray which tied into the wine theme they had throughout.  They used wine barrels as small tables, wine bottles for table numbers, wine corks for escort card holders, and even grapes as centerpiece accents.

Jenni, the bride, did admit that the cake was her favorite part.  The 2 tier wedding cake was simple and perfect - it had a smooth finish with piped pearl border at the base of each tier.  Florist Claire Zobel accented the cake with fresh flowers.
